Every other Wednesday | 10am – 12pm | Thorne Library | Free | For Women

Herstory Thorne is a free social club for women to discuss women through time, and share your own experiences. It is a fun informal group, and you don’t have to know anything about history to take part.

Each session we get to handle objects from Doncaster Museum, as well as take part in crafts and activities.

We have recently been working on a sustainability stitches quilt that takes inspiration from the WW2 rationing campaigns ‘Make Do and Mend’ and ‘Dig for Victory’.

This activity is FREE as it is funded by Arts Council England as part of Heritage Doncaster’s ‘History | Health | Happiness’ programme that aims to reduce social isolation and improve general wellbeing.
