Celebrate Doncaster’s rich heritage and creativity with Roots to Renewal! Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the fascinating world of natural dyeing, using resources from mining towns. Discover how coal byproducts and other natural materials have historically been transformed into vibrant dyes and pigments.

🔹 Get Creative: Learn traditional dyeing techniques and experiment with coal-derived colours.
🔹 Make & Take: Use naturally dyed fabric to craft a unique raggy flower brooch to take home.

No experience needed – just bring your curiosity! This free workshop is open to adults and children (under 14s must be accompanied by an adult).
