 f Victoria Cross recipients\, with seven men earning the highest award for
  valour since its inception in 1856. In this talk Keith Lumley\, chair of 
 Trustees at the Victoria Cross Trust will take you through the stories beh
 ind the Doncaster seven\, their local contribution and their military serv
 ice before providing an insight into how the charity maintains and restore
 s the memorials associated with these men. The talk will include an opport
 unity to see artefacts associated with the VC and the conflicts that saw t
