Exhibition: RAIL200 – Celebrating 200 years of railways

RAIL200: Celebrating 200 years of railways in Britain Exhibition in the Rail Heritage Centre | September 2025 – May 2026  

To celebrate this anniversary the exhibition features a wide variety of objects from the extensive Doncaster Grammar School Railway Collection. The objects illustrate key points in that 200 year history and demonstrate our rich railway heritage and its impact on the social history of Great Britain. This exhibition opens on 27th September which is exactly 200 years from the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway.
