  For Women\n\nHerstory Thorne is a free social club for women to discuss w
 omen through time\, and share your own experiences. It is a fun informal g
 roup\, and you don’t have to know anything about history to take part.\n
 \nEach session we get to handle objects from Doncaster Museum\, as well as
  take part in crafts and activities.\n\nWe have recently been working on a
  sustainability stitches quilt that takes inspiration from the WW2 rationi
 ng campaigns ‘Make Do and Mend’ and ‘Dig for Victory’.\n\nThis act
 ivity is FREE as it is funded by Arts Council England as part of Heritage 
 Doncaster’s ‘History | Health | Happiness’ programme that aims to re
 duce social isolation and improve general wellbeing.
