SUMMARY:Make a Yarn Garden with the Mother Hookers
DESCRIPTION:Join the Mother Hookers\, a local crochet group\, to create a 
 nature themed ‘Yarn Garden’ at Danum Gallery Library Museum.\n\nKaty a
 nd Bea who lead The Mother Hooker have recruited 28 makers so far. All abi
 lities are welcome.\n\nAnyone interested in knitting or crochet can get in
 volve. Pick up some free wool from central library to get started.\n\nYou 
 can take inspiration from nature to make colourful creations i.e.\, birds\
 , flowers\, leaves\, butterflies\, bees\, snails\, ladybirds\, bugs\, cate
 rpillars\, toadstools\, frogs\, fairy doors\, mice\, hedgehogs\, acorns\, 
 etc. These can be knitted\, crocheted\, or made of fabric.\n\nDrop off you
 r creations at Danum before closing on the 8th March 2025.\n\nMother Hooke
 rs will install the Yarn Garden on Monday 10th March\, and Monday 17th Mar
 ch. Just in time to welcome spring.\n\nThe wool being supplied has been so
 urced from ‘Wool and much much more!’ in Doncaster.\n\nThis activity
  is made possible by the Culture Nature project that has been funded by
  Libraries Connected and Natural England – to help people connect wi
 th nature.\n\nThis projects is also funding 6 free workshops for adults de
 livered by Growing Together CIC to help create a new growing area in the D
 anum Community Garden.
