DESCRIPTION:26th October – 11th January\n\nWorking predominantly in ceram
 ics\, Sarah Villeneau creates tactile\, abstract sculpture that is viscera
 l\, ambiguous and strange\, yet familiar. Inspired by the physiology of
  the body merged with organic form she creates standalone ceramic pieces 
 as well as assemblages incorporating found objects and textiles in a spon
 taneous\, make-do-and-mend approach. Using repair and joining techniques 
 - e.g. soldering\, riveting\, tying - as an aesthetic choice\, she celebr
 ates the random and the unpredictable\, finding grace in the merging of di
 sparate materials. The work can be both dark and playful with interactive 
 elements\, sound features and moveable parts.
